What is the name of your state? Pa. My son has been working at his job for over a year now and suddenly theres no work. When he went to see what was going on he found that he was replaced by people who did not speak English and were getting paid cash. He also was told that one of the new emloyees was on a work release program and they got him real cheap. My son is able to collect unemployment but would rather be working. Is there anything he can do? Thanks MicWhat is the name of your state?

Just because they're getting cash, doesn't mean taxes, etc. haven't been withhold. So before assuming, find out if they're paying taxes, etc. according what they should - if you are 100 % sure they're getting paid under the table, report the employer to the authorities.

Is there anything else your son can do? Find another job...
