I have just had my vehicle reposessed today. We purchased this car at a buy here, pay here auto dealer. Since the beginning I had been paying $60 bi-weekly. I've only had the car since April 06. Recently we had found out the pymts should have been $110. bi-weekly, each time we had gone in to pay, no one ever mentioned this to us, one time my husband had gone in to pay $120. and the guy said you only owe $60, so that's all he paid. Once we found out that we were behind due to only paying $60. instead of $110, I told one of the financial mgrs. that we were going to catch up w/this. in the mean time we were receiving calls from a Debra who was another finance person, stating we were behind. Every time i tried to call her back she was never in the office. I made sure that it was noted that i called. Last payment i made was just on 6/16/06, for $120.00, at that time I made sure the financial guy noted my account that the remainder would get paid. The following week, I had received 3 calls from Miss Debra stating we were late and it was close to repo. I phoned her back each time, and she was NEVER IN, i made sure it was noted i called, (supposedly they did). Just yesterday 6/27 I tried to call her again 2x's finally i told Mark (a salesman) to let her know I was tryin to contact her, and that the past balance due would be paid on Friday 6/30/06. I told him we did not want to have it repo'd and are going to resolve the situation. He said that would be ok and supposedly noted my account. Now I wake up to my car gone! And not only that, they had done damage to our lawn, driveway, and my daughters car who was parked along side mine. What can be done with this. I saw on the atty. general's site that as long as a verbal agreement was reached they can't repo the car. Also I want compensation for damages done to our property.

Sue them in small claims court.
