Texas. Repossession person tried to reposess car with 12 year old daughter and dog in the car. Thankfully we were in a shopping strip and 2 security officers heard her scream. At same time, daughter called me and I ran to the car. Then the report man gets out. Also, had vehicle 3 weeks sold with no passenger air bag, no working horn, nor tail lights (night lights). Reason for said repossession was no insurance which I purchased at dealer and had valid insurance card and dealer added to payments withing first month of purchase without my knowledge. Payment schedule not signed. Only found out few days before repossession while I happened to be in the hospital. When I tried to call dealer only would curse at me and hang up on me. Paid $1800 down 3 weeks previously plus $249 for the insurance plus to fix safety issues. Are there civil or criminal grounds to sue/file charges? If so for which issues. (contract did state that they are responsible only for major parts such as engine, trans, etc. As well as safety mechanisms.) Child and dog now traumatized as well. Wouldn't eat last night nor sleep alone.

Since you're leaving out important details, we cannot help beyond saying that there seems to be no damages based on the attempted repossession.

Your story is confusing.

You purchased a car from a dealer and there was an attempted repossession of this vehicle three weeks after you purchased it?
