I work for a printer in Iowa. We have a customer who clipped out of different magazines images of models and merchandise and also an article all of which she wants to use in her company's newsletter. Neither her company nor ours own the images or article. Being the printer, what kind of responsibilities do we have in reference to the copyright of these items? If we print these items for her and someone comes back saying permission wasn't granted, would it be her fault or our's or both?
