What is the name of your state? - UK, I know this is a US site but advice would be appreciated.

I'd like to make up some fashion items with lyrics from songs printed on them. The songs are unlikely to be in the public domain so if I'm accrediting the band, (i.e. 'I want to hold you hand...' The Beatles, 1965) what do I need to do for it to be legal?

Thanks in advance.
