What is the name of your state? OH
I didn't want to hijack, but had a light bulb go off in my head reading that thread. I am in a situation of needing to prove under-the-table income. I do not have an attorney. I have gotten the Labor & Industry reports and salary.com. Plus, some other small "evidence".
Am I able to request these documents such as bank accounts for the hearing?
Do I need the court to request these be brought or should I send a letter to ex and his attorney requesting these?
They might come in handy, but need to know how to get them on my own.
Thank You!

Is that federal or state? Be certain that you have obtained data representative of the area he lives, and not an industry-wide general average. Because, if it is data that is not good for your area, it would be very easy to cchallenge it's validirty.

Some industries will vary WIDELY in pay scale from one market to another. The pay, for example, in my husband's profession is about half here of what it would be in NY, but on the high side for persons of his background working here. But we have NO interest in being in NY.

The Labor & Industry reports are local, our specific city. There is the state site that actually has his employer listed on it. Salary.com is for our city as well. I did print the National salary levels, just in case, their actually lower though.
Thanks for the heads up!

I doubt an attorney will just give you bank records- You'll most likely have to subpoena them. Check your counties' procedures for subpoena of bank records.
