What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland
My son attends a private liberal arts college in PA, and will be senior next fall. Can a residential college require that a student stay on campus and reside in on-campus housing senior year? A senior privilege is living off campus in a college-owned apartment, selection determined by a lottery. In light of the economy, and paying nearly $50,000/year for tuition, room and board, we are considering letting him commute or rent an inexpensive apartment near the campus. Because we are not on financial aid, he cannot work on campus. All jobs are for students on financial aid. Your insight and help is much appreciated. Thank you.
