I want to know if it is illegal to resell a product that another company is presently advertising and selling. The company is selling a product that I know I can buy and resell at twice the price in another country.I want to place ads and fill them by ordering the product as the orders come in from the company that is selling the product. Can I do this.

Unless the product is restricted (customs will seize it), you can do that. Why pay retail, though? See if you can work out a wholesale price with the manufacturer.

You need to make sure the supplier can meet your volume demands. Don't get too backordered. :)

This is not legal advice and you are not my client. Double check everything with your own attorney and your state's laws.
