We are thinking of getting married but he is afraid that if my kids do something wrong he will be held responsible for their actions. He's concerned that legally he will have to pay any fines or damages they may cause. I'm not saying I have bad kids it's just a concern.

You may want to consider that perhaps he isn't really ready for marriage....particularly if your kids are not bad kids.

In any case, I suspect that this is more of a criminal law question than a family law question. You may want to post your question on the Juvenile law forum.
