restating question

my landlord is pushing me to sign new lease.it is not up until august.i have been approved for a loan and am in the process of looking for a house. if i dont find one by august will want to stay here.if i dont sign it then shes going to start showing it to other people to rent in august.can she do this or do i have til august to decide what i want to do?

When its restated this way.....

YOU are under NO obligation to sign a lease until August, IF she even gives you one, today......of course she wont give you one if you refuse to sign one today.

You have a legal right to say there untill the end of the lease, and you are entitled to the securuity back minus any damages.

BUT beforewarned.......YOU MUST AND I MEAN MUST be out of the house by the last day of the lease...NO EXCUSES!

I dont care if you havent closed yet...MOVE into a hotel room....If you dont move out you would be liable for ALL the landlords expenses For September, AND all the tenants expenses if they cant move in...

That can be very very expensive
