My husband was convicted of a felony over 15 years ago and spent a short time in jail. He had nothing prior to that and has been law-abiding ever since. Due to this conviction however, he is not allowed to travel into Canada and I am wondering what are the steps he has to take to get these rights restored? He was convicted on a drug related charge (I'm not positive what the exact charge was) and spent less than 15 months in jail in Marion, IL. please email me with replies ([email protected])
