My wife, currently an illegal immigrant from Brazil, had me served with an order of protection. It was a no harass order. I really didn't care to take a day off of work to contest it because I was sure she was heading back to her home country. She was awarded this in court because I didn't show up.There was no incident that occurred, no police involved. Apparently the no harass order has turned into a restraining order. This alarms me. She is using this to try and get citizenship here. Is there any way I can have a judge reopen that so I can contest it?
