What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

Im not going to use any names. And it doesnt involve me, its my friend.
There are 2 girls. Girl A and girl B.
They were dating but their parents didnt know.
Girl A is about to be 17 and Girl B just turned 18.
Girl A's mother found out about the whole situation and Girl B had sent a text message saying that "A life without Girl A wasnt something she was going to be happy about and Girl A should wait for her." So Girl A's mother filed a restraining order claiming that Girl B was violent.
Girl B is never EVER violent towards the family or anything. Girl A's mother has even let Girl B babysit her son.
Do you think that this is something that will get thrown out in court considering Girl B has never been violent in the first place?

So basically, Is Girl B innocent or not?

Additional Details:
Girl B and Girl A are like majorly in love to be honest.
Girl B has NEVER been violent to Girl A or Girl A's family.
Girl B's parents think that Girl A's mother is just not accepting the fact that her daughter is dating another girl and that she just wants to do whatever she can to keep them apart.

Under the age of 18 = Under control of parents.

Even if someone is in love. Including a restraining order.

The End.

The parent is right to file for a restraining order.

The parent can take any necessary action to keep her daughter from anyone. especially against someone (boy or girl) the child is dating, and or getting sexual with.

the girls have to wait until they are 18 to see eachother if thats what they want.

the girl getting a restraining order put on her, can certainly get a lawyer to argue the validity of the accusations, but parent will probably win anyway.

If Girl A is under 18, then she is still legally under the care and control of her parents.

There are NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER under which the law is going to force her parents to allow her to see anyone, male or female, that they do not wish her to see.

It is ENTIRELY up to her parents whether she is allowed to see, talk to, IM, text message, pass notes to through a third party, or communicate in any other way up to and including smoke signal, singing telegram, and ASL, with Girl B. Or anyone else, for that matter.

As long as she is one minute under the age of 18, her parents OWN her.

It doesn't make a damn bit of difference whether Girl B has "ever been violent" or if the mother is just "not accepting the situation". The mother is God.

Are we quite clear on this now?

Oh the drama, the drama of teen love.

My oldest will be 13 in one month. I pray every night she stays the low drama, level-headed, easy going kid she has been her entire life. And that she stays friend with the kids she hangs out with now, who may grouse and grumble about it, but for the most part obey and respect their parents. I am SO not ready for teenage drama. REALLY not ready for teen love!!!!
