Restraining Order Question

I live in WI. Can you please tell me, once a restraining order is placed against someone, does it become public knowledge? Can anyone call and find out if the order has been placed?

I don't know about your state but I do know that in Arizona where I used to live that they had a public access site which listed the court hearings for people and what the charges were. Shoot my traffic ticket was on there! All someone had to do was go to the site type in my name and puff they knew every time I had ever gone to court. Including my divorce and even when I was late paying my court fees by a week one time!
