What is the name of your state?NJ

I have an ex-gf that continues to contact me every so often, against my will. To make a long story short, i've decided to seriously consider a restraining order. Oddly, she has threatened the same thing against me. She plans to create a story about how i have a conspiracy to physically harm her (or she claims).

Anyhow, before this goes any further, i want to get a restraining order and put and end to it. Can someone tell me what i will need to accomplish this? What and how long is the process? I'm trying to avoid a sloppy situation that will turn into a bigger mess. I just want a quick solution that puts her out of my life permanently, and doesnt involve her pushing her fake story to authorities to get me into trouble.
