restration orders while on probation

i am a mother of a 35 year old law dergree male (has not passsed the boards - failed twice) who has gotten involved with a women and now has two boys - has been arrested 6 times for breaking a restraaing order (one for sure - the others she made up) and now is on probation for 3 years on a misdeameanor. The p[roblem - she called to say that unless he gives her more money for the children (the youngest one does not have his last name because as she said in court "I am not ready yet for that" she will accuse him of breaking the OP - she did - he called office twice and left his name and phone and we still have not heard from him (this was almost three weeks ago). He just started probation, as a matter of fact, he still has not even met up with his pO yet. My question is should he call his po and let him know about this, also shall he try again to call the po that took her report for breaking or harraSEMENT. he has a court date in suffolk country on 3/30/00 to fix the arrears she claims he owns, which he does not - he is up to date.
please help me with this as i am going crazy - we had a lawyer but now feel that he was not helpful in solving this problem which has been going on for a few years now. Also would like to know who he can geta OP against her. You may say to yourself - wait she said her son has a law degree - why can he help himsel;f - which i know the answer tpo that only know that he is not in any shape to even help himself. would appreciate hearing from you via e-mail as soon as possible - maybe you could help me from ending it all as i feel i have failed as a mother and can not go on living if my son is put in jail for something he did not do. thank you for lisiting -
