What is the name of your state? Washington

My girlfriend is renting a room from a local woman who owns the home that they live in. At first, the woman told her that she didn't want any strangers in her house, but has since narrowed that down and told her that she could not have any visitors at all even though the woman will occasionally have a male friend spend the weekend at the house.

Does my girlfriend have any right to have visitors?

What a crock. Unless it's in the lease, she can have visitors. But if there is no lease, the landlord can make her move out for disobeying the silly no-visitor rule.

It's a serious crock, and there's much more than that, but that is the relevant issue. As I suspected, her best option is to move. Thanks for you help.
