What is the name of your state? VT. What law covers protection for a truck driver who was first demoted to part time, switched from days to nights with less hours, then fired due to arguing with the boss and refusing to drive over the hours required by law? Boss fired him for not willing to drive over the hours he (the boss) wanted him to do which was illegal. He had not yet reported violations, but boss knew he was going to and demoted then fired him before he had a chance. Thanks
