I own a home in Massachusetts. My house shares a driveway with the neighboring house. It is in the deed to the house that it is a 'right of way' driveway. The tenants in the neighboring house keep parking in the driveway, blocking access. We have asked them numerous times not to park there. Their landlord has also sent them a certified letter telling them that they cannot park in the driveway. We've also posted a NO PARKING sign. She has also given them a 60 day notice to move out. Today they parked in the driveway again. I called to have the car towed, unfortunately, the driveway was too narrow and the tow truck could not tow it. The tenant did come out when the tow truck was there and said she would move. However, after they left they began yelling profanities and refused to move the car. Eventually, after another call from their landlord they moved the car. They have also been harassing my tenants about the parking on the street. Consequently, my tenants, who are very good tenants have started to look for another apartment. What can I do? I'm afraid that even though they have been given notice they will not move out, they will continue to park in the driveway and will force my wonderful tenants who are fed up with them to move out. What can I do?
