What is the name of your state? florida/2/28/2 arrested on a vop warrant.at the time of this arrest new felony charges were added. to date i have only appeared in court for bond hearing & my p.defender to get postponments. no offers have been been presented to me,no formal discussion occuring, my next court date (pre-trial conf. again) is set for 8/28/2. where do i stand as far as speedy trial? does the state have longer than 6 months to pursue? i have not signed away my rights for a speedy trial & i am only asking in re: to the new charges incured on 2/28/2. thanks in advance for any insight!!!!
