This is taking place in California. We had been at this location for 3.1/2 yrs., the first two years leasing, the last year and a half in month-to-month basis. We do not want to continue, we are terminating the contract. Our landlord is planning to lease to new tenants on the exact same line of business as ours (real estate). I once heard that a landlord must let a minimum of two years go by before allowing his/her place to be used for the same business line as previous tenants. Right? Wrong? If I happen to be rigth, could you site the specific code for me?

Thank you very much.
