I live in California. I bought a camera on June 24th in an actual store, and I just found out that I was mislead in regards to the price. At the time of the sale, I was told that the camera was $875 and they would give me some accessories for "free". They rang up the sale and it was when I was presented with the receipt that I saw that the camera was $665.00 and they charged me for all the "free" accessories. I paid with my Amex credit card. There are no signs posted saying no refunds/exchanges yet it is listed on the bill. What recourse if any do I have? What is the name of your state?

Oh brother - you were quoted $875 for the camera with accessories - the break-down on the receipt is simply for record keeping. As long as you didn't pay more than $875 (plus applicable taxes), what are you complaining about???

well since I have now found out that the camera retails for only $479.00 ( i love their markup) and I paid for a bunch of accessories that actually should come with the camera pardon me if i feel a little ripped off.

What is the store's return policy? Even with a restocking fee, you might come out ahead if you returned it and bought it elsewhere.
