What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? illinois
I purchased a store to go website from AW of Resale Clipart ,
she was prepaid 400.00. After numerous letters of lies - her mom died , her grand mother died , her sister gave birth early , she had pneumonia, she was able to push it past the 45 days for paypals policy to refund , she stopped answering ANY mail from me . BOLTED GONE - pooffff
Only to see on her website she was offering to collect donations for cancer society in memory of her mother and grand mother who died 2 YRS AGO.
amazing her relatives all die 2 or 3 times.
I have filed to pay pal , BBB, and was referred to xxx.org
If you look at this page you will see 26 comments written in about this person
AW and how others are trying to get their money too. [link omitted]
I had to hire a company to basically backdoor my site to get it stuck off the
internet as i was paying hosting.Repair the damage , and rebuild my site over.
The previews of the products she installed were just of that - previews
i bought 570 pks of clip art and 100 webset - the site had approx 175 pks on it of which many files were missing and full of advertising to her store.
I lost all sales for 5 months as that is how long it took to build the 5 day site.
This was just awful and suggestions would be appreciated in recovering my loss.
Thank you very much ..

A lot of people think they can get help from the BBB. Actually, all the BBB can do is try and negotiate a settlement between the parties involved. They don't have the legal right to force either side to do anything.

It looks like you did little or no investigation before you committed to doing business with AW.

Have you contacted the state attorney general's office?

If AW can't be located, you've probably lost your money.

I thought I had investigated fairly well , as AW represents herself as person with WAHM. And she even has a blog radio talk show for WAHM's.
How she is so commited to customer service .. hmm
The link I sent but it was removed , but it showed 26 write ins to the WAHM
site , where one of the girls there is trying to help us.
But when the person knows to stall you the 45 days so you cannot go
to paypal , little to no complaints get filed for you to find.

No I have not tried the state attorney general , but I can try that.
And yes I do have her address in illinois.
Thank you very much .
