Illinois - HomeGuru, so you say I can get the county to reimburse for my tree. They say they don't have to because the tree will be too close to the pavement and the law does not allow that. They say the right of way existed, so therefore they do not owe anything. My question to them was if right of way already existed, why now try to get our
signitures asking us to grant it to them at this time. No reply from them. Do you think I have any chance at all of getting money from the county? They seem pretty convinced I have no more to say in this matter.
