I read that senators are going to vote on whether to impeach governor Rod Blagovich. if they all vote to impeach him, does rod Blagovich have a right to appeal and can he appeal in a court rather than to senators? or if he can't appeal, can he go to court to get his job back?

Is this another one of your get-off-the-school-bus questions. Look, we'd love to help you in your civic's class; but since you are the one that needs to do the homework ~ Google is your friend.

GAWD, I sure hope not!!!!!

I don't think he can appeal since it's not a criminal conviction. Hopefully they'll vote that he can't ever hold public office again. He's a disgrace!

Just so you son't wound so ignorant; They have already impeached Blago. Now, they are in the trial phase and once they render a verdict, he will be convicted or not convicted.

Then, they will determine his punishment. Most likely he will be removed from office but the senate does have the option of barring Blago from ever holding any office in Illinois if they desire.

Impeachment is the act of charging the person, not convicting them.

Clinton was impeached. Not convicted so no advers action ws taken.
