What is the name of your state? NV

Does anyone know if NV allows a ROFR to be applied to step parents??? That is, can a biological parent refuse visitation if the child will be home only with the stepparent?

You need to read up on what a ROFR actually IS. It's not for steps -- it's for parents. And it applies both ways.
Google NV custody. There are no NV attorneys on this board, to my knowledge. Any help you'll get will be thru google, and it might as well be you doing the searching, because it's your case. Good luck. :)

keep your questions on your other thread. You are twisting things trying to use the information that you received on one thread to ask a question on another.

I don't see how that matters, I am trying to clarify the question so it makes more sense to people. I am new to this thing and am not trying to "twist" anything.

I read on the web that in many states you can not use the ROFR to take the child if it is the step parent watching them. That is why I am asking this.

I'm sorry "fairisfair" - do the "procedures" include policing everyone's posts and giving no useful advice whatsoever? Get a life.

Any Senior Member has the "right" to tell you to follow forum procedures. So does any informed newbie.

You want free advice...but you're too rude for *my* tastes. Go see if you can get some free advice in an attorney's office.
