I live with my fiance in Texas, and he has 3 teenagers from a previous marriage. Recently, his ex-wife allowed his 15 year daughter (who never comes to see him) to go to Chicago unchaperoned by an adult with her boyfriend to stay with his father (the boyfriends). My fiance has stayed out of it, stating that his daughter had stopped seeing him, and his ex-wife took on the role of both parents when he left. I personally am apalled that she is allowed to let this happen! What if her daughter gets pregnant?? She is a beautiful girl, and constantly has boys over at the house. Her 18 year old sister is also constantly sick, headaches, with the stress of being around her mother's boyfriend who always gets into fights with the ex. I have tried to be calm, but I can't stand to see his kids suffer. His son, who's 13, is pretty much wrapped up in computers. Does he have any hope of excercising his parental rights & having his ex brought up on child neglect charges? What can he do?
