Oregon State: The roof on the house that I am renting has recently been replaced. Unfortunatly, the hammering and dropping of roofing bundles on the rood, caused a heavy object to fall from the rafters, through the windshield of an antique automobile that is under restoration.
As the car is not on the road, it is not covered by auto insurance but I do have renters insurance.
Question, who is responsible for the damage? The home owner, the roofer or me?
Thanks.

i can see how it could be the roofers or the owners responsibility, but unless you parked in front of a "No Parking -Heavy Object in Rafters" sign, it will probably be decided by wheather it was forceable or not
