Recently, I noticed water coming from the roof. It was trickling down the drywall and under the paint near a window sill. Unfortunately, it was the weekend and the no one was at the office, so we called a board member just to let him know. I didn't figure anything would be done right away as it was a holiday weekend.

When I called the office during business hours. They informed me that the leak has happened before and they will fix it.

My question is: Is the association liable for the damage to the walls inside my property? I know that there was no damage to my personal property which would be my loss anyway. Just the walls and the ceiling were damaged. They are damp and I'm concerned about mold and the structural integrity of the wall.

Who would be responsible for those damages?
