I was in the middle of moving out from a room I was renting in a house in Southern California. I had just come back to the house from dropping off some previously packed up items at my new location to find that my roomate (who is also serving as our landlord)had moved my drums out into the living room (from my room) so they could start painting the room before I was even done moving out. I found a huge scrach on on of the drums. These drums are limited edition and cannot be replaced. I would houever settle for a new kit. What can I do? I know it is illeagal for the landlord to move my stuff, but can I make her pay for it?
