My roommate moved out. She gave me a month notice on the rent but did not pay it. The landlord took her rent out of her deposite.
Even though she had 30 days to live there, she decided to move out two weeks early. She gave me a 5 day notice that she will only be paying a 1/4 of the utlity bills because she is leaving on her own earlier then the 30 days. I think she should pay half the utlity bills up to the 30 days
notice reguarless if she is there or not.
The landlord took her portion of the utlity bills out of her deposite and gave the money to me so I can pay the bills, which are all in my name.
Now she is threating to take me to small claims court. Can she win.
