What is the name of your state? South Carolina
I have car insurance with Nationwide. My 20 year old daughter is a covered driver. Recently she let a friend (unbeknowst to me) drive her car. He was driving recklessly, lost control and run into a steep ditch. He was not hurt but the car was. Did not call law enforcement so there was no report turned in. The car has about $2,000.00 worth of damage done to it. It has been about 2 weeks and he still has not made an effort to do anything with the car. He is over 21 so I can't say anything to his parents as they would not be liable at his age. Can I turn this in to my insurance company. I certainly do not have that kind of money to fix the car and there is a loan payment of $300.00 that has to be met every month even though the car can not be driven.
