What is the name of your state? NY
I worked for a company for 4 months, during this time I was paid $1000 a month.
I signed no agreement, the only thing written on the check to my corp. was "advance".
I was paid a total of $2000, then proceed to work for another two months with no pay.
Now the company want me to repay the $2000.
Am I legally obligated to repay them even though there was no agreement?
