undefinedWhat is the name of your state? Va. is where I live, I work in NC. This is where I got hurt on my job. It's taken over a year, to get released from Doctors, after they did back surgery. Now my question is they (W/C) insurance said, the settlement would come within 3 days after doctors completely released me.. Well, I've been released for over 2 months now, an I'm wondering does anyone know anything about this, stuff. Have they just lied to me, or what. Haven't heard a word from anyone. Thanks for any kind of input. Mickey

Have you checked with dr office?

Have you checked with your Treating Doctors office to make sure that
they have sent in the necessary paperwork?
Have you spoken with your adjuster?
Who have you spoken with?
Get copies yourself of the release papers as well, sometimes medical records
departments don't always follow through, they are very underpaid.

It could well be the WC carrier is waiting for a report from your doctor regarding the degree of permanent impairment you have. Some doctors are incredibly untimely with this stuff.

I suggest you contact the WC carrier and ask what the delay is. They may also be waiting for the State to approve the PPD recoommendation and the settlement amount.
