What is the name of your state? TX- Can an salary employee claim comp time if they work more than 40 hours a week? example I work 42-45 hours a week can i take comp time for the 2-5 hours that I worked over, like can I leave early one day?

Assuming that by salaried you mean exempt, that is a matter of company policy. While an exempt employee can legally be granted comp time, it is not required by law and the employer is the one who decides whether to allow it or not.
