What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Texas
Are salaried employees exempt from showing up to work on time, or allowed to take extended breaks, or leave for personal appts, legally?
And are Owners/Presidents of companies legally able to be exempt from all office rules. Ex: He can eat breakfast in office during reg hours, but noone else can?? I know it sounds petty......
And finally can I be terminated for questioning these practices, if all other responsiblities of my job are being met, or exceeded?

Everything you are asking about is entirely a matter of company policy. If an employer opts not to enforce certain work rules for the salaried employees that the hourly employees have to comply with, they are free to do so. It may not be a sound business decision but that's their perogative.

As to the company owners, they can have an all-day smorgasbord if they want to. You would be EXTREMELY well-advised to keep your nose out of their business. When the time comes that you own your own company, you can do as you please as well.

And finally can I be terminated for questioning these practices, if all other responsiblities of my job are being met, or exceeded? Yes. My suggestion is that you focus on your job and mind your own business. Salaried (i.e. exempt) employees often put in far longer hours than do hourly employees (for which they receive no additional compensation), therefore it's not uncommon for exempt employees to have more latitude in their comings and goings when the need arises.

Okie Dokie. Thanks for the advice, I will use it. I just wanted to make sure it was legal, and since it is I will stop complaining.
