I was recently employed by a private resort. My contract stated that I work for the five months of the season but my salary was stretched over 12 months./ I had to resign due to family problems; but I only had five weeks left before I was done for the season. What I need to know is - does the company owe me my salary minus the five weeks that I didn't work? I still haven't received my final pay check and the pay period was last thurs. please help if possible. thanks
