We purchased a new General Instrument 350i satalite receiver Nov 2000 from a local dealer. We have had trouble with it from day one. The dealer said he would make it right and gave us a UHF remote to use until he replaced the one that didn't work. Six months later still haven't received the new remote and now the remote he gave also doesn't work. We called him May 18th asked about the remote again. Continued calling and May 22, 2001 said he had one and could pick it up and gave us the phone no. of the company if we had a problem. We did and called the company, gave them the serial number and was told the warrenty ran out on that receiver in 1996, and said the problem might be the $450.00 receiver and not the remote. The dealer we bought it from said it was still under warrenty. We thought it was a year 2000 model and I want our money back. Can I do that? and how do I go about it?
Thank you,
Valerie Hall
