Hello there, quick question. I have finished paying off my cs arrearages with this past year's refunds, with a little bit left over. I was wondering what the process was to inform the IRS that my arrearages were paid off, so that they don't keep my next tax refund. I have not even received the balance of my refund after the arrears were paid off and my wife and I filed in February, so I certainly don't want this to happen again next year. I've been getting mixed answers from DCSE and I'm pretty convinced that they have not a clue what they're doing (my arrears went from $1000 to $13000 in 1 week as a result of a computer error...needless to say my confidence is shattered). i will appreciate any assistance anyone can give me. Thanks.
