Filed for bankruptcy in May '04, had creditor's meeting on 08/27/04...discharge won't occur until 10/27/04 or after. At what point can I open up a savings account? Now that I finally have a little "extra", I'd like to put it in a savings account. :)

There is nothing in the bankruptcy code that prohibits a debtor from opening a bank account. (Okay, in a 13, maybe the trustee could object because of the account fees, but I can't think of anything else.)
