What is the name of your state? CT

Hi there. Back in May, I purchased tickets to the Carribbean online. I was stupid and admit it but am wondering if I have any recourse that wouldn't cost more than I've already spent.

I found cheap(er) tickets online and tried to pay via credit card. They said their credit card machine was not working and that I should wire the money. So I wired it, and it got to them. Then they stopped talking to me. Won't answer the phone or email. I never got the ticket.

I tried going through the better business bureau but they said since I don't have an address for the online company they can't do anything (I traced the number and it comes from NY, NY). I have the email address, the phone and fax and website. Is there any way I can get my money back? It was around $350. Thanks!

Your money is like TARA, Gone with the Wind.

However, you can report the company to your state's Attorney General's office, the FBI for wire fraud and a number of other agencies.

Actually if you recall, Twelve Oaks was burned to the ground, Tara was left mostly untouched, except for all those vile Yankees trampling the property and stealing most everything except Ms. Ellen's broach and earrings.
