We had a survey done to prove we own a private paper street and the bordering property of six people who are suing us to force us to give our property to the town so it can be widened 50 ft. We have no problem with these people using the paper street and it's only 750 ft. long.We found out there were two surveys done on our property behind our back and we feel these people are using the scham of wanting the paper street widened to take our property away from us. They tear down our "No trespassing signs", cut our trees and continue to trespass. Our lawyer seems to be intimidated by theirs and we feel we're being victimized. The people who are suing us went to court in 1973 and sued a neighbor to take over their original road and then promptly covered the road up to add to their property value. Our paper street was bulldozed to create a new access to the camps of these suers and they now want the court to give them our property. The town told these people they do not want to widen the paper street and sent us a letter stating so. Does anyone know how to stop this fraud or can you refer us to an attorney who specializes in fraudulent property takeover?
