I am in Florida and I went to a technical college for broadcasting in 1993. they made several promises to me about the type of work i would find after graduation and even said they would help me with job placement. When I graduated in 1995 with a so-called degree the school announced they were closing there doors and we would be in the final graduating class. They never helped us to find work and even worse the level of education we received was below average. they told us the school was acredited and we found out later it wasnt. I ended up with $17,000 dollars in loans and a useless degree. Lately, I tried to get some more copies of my transcripts and I was told they were in the hands of a firm that had them stored in a computer that they couldnt operate. Does anyone know if I can sue the prior owners of this school so that I can get these loans off my back. Thank you.
