I attended a private schhol. I rec'd grants from the US govt that paid 100% of my school loan to the schhol. I never completed the school and the school kept all of my school loan plus are asking for addtl $1000.00. When ever I ask for this in writing , the school never replies. I am totally aware that the school was to repay back the money that I didn't use and if they did not I am responsible for that money.
What is my rights as far as repayment goes? What is the least I can pay this private school to keep them from turning this into a credit agency until I get a lawyer to look into this?
I already gave them 5.00 and they cashed it the same day?
thank you
