Hello Everyone. I'm Zack and im from Salt Lake City, Utah.

I was at work a few days ago when my son's school called me. They informed me that he has been caught for posting answers for an assignment on his internet server, and won't be getting some credits for the class he is enrolled in. I was shocked, and later that day i asked my son about what happend.

My boy explained to me that he walked into the principal's office where he was confronted by him. The principal started out their meeting with "tell me what the heck is going on" and kept badgering my son. My son continually answered "i don't know" until after a few more questions my boy said "i'd like to talk to my lawyer."

After my son said that last sentence, the principal was outraged. The principal said something along the lines of "well, if you go and call your lawyer i will get the school resource officer in here to arrest you." My son immediately burst into tears and said he was responsible for this.

When the confession was over, the principal said "well that wasn't so hard. We thought it was you anyway, since you're so good with computers."

The whole thing was a big huge cop out, and essentially.. one big "guess." Finding out later they had absolutely no proof at all prior to the meeting that my son was responsible. They are pretty good guessers it seems.

What can be done about this? I'm at a complete loss and don't know what to do.

Ground your son and take away his computer.

Take yer butt on over to any kind of parenting site, because legalities are NOT the problem, lady; neither is school.
