Ok to sum this up...My school is telling my GF's parents ALOT of information about me that they don't need to. They have told my girlfriend's parents when I am not in school, when I am, if were out at the same time. They have also told them that I am in an alternative program at the school, also they have told HER parents about what would happen to ME if the courts were to get involved to get me to go to school. My truince officer has called her parents and actually discussed issues with her parents about me...when they dont even bother to call my own parents.

What can I do...My mom, me and my girlfriend are getting sick of this bull**** and I want to know what I can do?

It has everything to do with your issue. Obviously they feel that you are a bad influence on your girlfriend, and they are trying to save her. If you care about her or yourself, you'd straighten yourself out.

**A: your post is a perfect example of why you should be attending school.
Did you know that you do not have good grammar and spelling?

The reason I don't punctuate properly and spell correctly is because I'm online and I find it a waste of my time to make everything perfect, especially on a forum. If you would like me to type carefully and spell every word correctly....I'm sorry, I'm not going to do all that just for a forum. I will try my hardest though from here on out if I make a post.

In regards to the fact they fear for my girlfriend, they blame her for my actions, when there not even her fault because I started to not go to school even before I met her. I just wanted some help on what my mom and/or I could do about the school telling people my attendance record an what could happen to me if court the courts got involved and all these other things that is completely irrelevant and private.

**A: then fine, I'm not wasting my time helping you.
And if you check the profiles, I am the only attorney helping you.
Good luck, you're really going to need it.

Ok, look. I am just extremely upset at the school for doing this. How are you going to say my life is an open book and none of my rights have been violated? I find it extremely awkward for that to be true. I didn't mean the forum remark and I didn't mean to offend you HomeGuru because you have helped me before. I just want to know, aren't there privacy issues that are violated? I mean if this was happening to your kid you would be upset too. Well, I at least hope you would be. I'm not causing harm to my girlfriend and nor anyone else besides myself per say.

Sorry guys and girls didn't mean to piss off or upset any of you. I am just so heated at the school right now that it's making me take things out on other people.

NOT priviledged information protected by statute.

Wow. I'm surprised at that but I guess it's the law. Well how about suspension and grades?

If I was suspended for X amount of days and my Dean told a student, would that be considered privliged information?

or

If I was to have a good grade (B) first semester, then get a bad grade second semester (D), then again in third semester (D).
-Still in fourth

And the school beleives I am 'failing' my classes because of a specific person, who I did not meet until third semester. Would they have the right to tell there parents about what is happening with me?

You are a very convincible kid

It sounds like you have managed to convince your mom, your girlfriend and yourself that your issue of not attending school is not an issue. But instead, the school telling your girlfriend’s parents that you are not attending school is an issue that your mom should be worried about. Gee, if you could only convince this board, maybe your school would just get off your back. Why don’t you could save your thread and get credit in English for a paper on a persuasive argument? I think you’ll get an “A.”

Nice comment at the end I like it, but besides that. My mom and I have already discussed this. I plan to get my GED next year if the same Administration is in place, if it's not. Then I will go back.Your making it seem like I am hiding my mom from all this when she is right up here with me. My privacy is for me and MY parents to know. Not someone else's.

My mom and I are extremely close and she is also fed up with the school because information was being told to my girlfriends parents before I started skipping school as much as I did. Your also making this seem like it's all my moms fault and the school has no responsibility. You know I truly wonder if you know what it's like to feel like your school has given up on you or your child. Not many people experience that feeling and I can almost guarantee that you don't.

Just to show you that the school doesn't care about me and that's why I don't go:

Attendance: I have been truant for more than 5 consecutive days of school in a row and my mom did not find out until SHE asked. I have been truant for approx. 30 days out of the school year. NOT ONE THING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT

Grades: Yes, my grades are poor as I said before. I'm in an alternative program that I was told would give me help. Never got that help.

Comments: Students have told me I shouldn't be there. My house dean has actually asked me "Why are you here?" when I do show up for school on time and ready to stay the full day. My truancy officer has made comments to places I have put in a job application for the summer. Resulting in me not being able to get it. My house dean has also told me that "You shouldn't be here. You should just go home now cause I know your not going to stay the full day" when again I plan on staying the whole day and doing work.

So now you see where I'm coming from and if you don't well then that's just fine. You can just continue to post your "what will happen in reality" comments and I will just keep reading.
