What is the name of your state? Texas

I live in Georgetown, Texas and I was recently in a rear end collusion, along with my boyfriend. I go to an alternative high school (it's public, though) called Richarte High. After the accident, my boyfriend and I were both taken to the ER on a stretcher for severe neck and back pain. I was given a neck brace, and we were both given referrals for physical therapy.
The secretary at school told me to get a letter from my chiropractor stating our limitations and when we would be back to school. The next day I had an appointment, and she wrote us both letter stating that from the day she wrote the letter until the end of Christmas Break, we were not able to work at school...and should stay home.
We then took the letters into my school, and the principal told me that a chiropractor was "not a licensed physician", therefore her letter held no weight. They would not even take the letters from us, so we kept them. I requested that the principal show me in writing, a rule from the school district stating that a chiropractor's word was not acceptable in case of auto accidents. She never gave me anything. She has not showed me ANYTHING from the school district, or in writing for that matter. All she's done is verbally tell me the "rules".
We have plenty of pregnant teenagers that attend my school, and they get 6-9 weeks out of school for maternity leave, and it's called "homebound", where they stay home and do work. The principal does not make them "make up" their missed days. One of my good friends did this, and never made up the time she was out. Now, the principal is trying to tell me that they DO make up all 6 weeks, and that because I was in a car accident, I am no exception.
The principal told me to get a bunch of forms filled out by my chiropractor, so I she is currently doing that. We spoke to my principal last night about when the paperwork would be done, which is tomorrow (Wednesday). We told her the chiropractor would fax it to her. Then, this morning I get a knock on my door from a truancy officer. He told me that Ms.Winship (the principal) had called him and asked him to come to my house to "find out what was going on", even though I JUST spoke with her and told her last night. Now, she's telling me that if I don't have the paperwork filled in by TODAY (which was not what we agreed on) that she will file for truancy, and I will be called to court and they will attempt to put me on juvenile probation.
I've never been in trouble with a school, in my entire life. I'm a straight A student, and I cannot believe they are trying to kick me out. She also told my 18 year old boyfriend, that he needs to "withdraw himself for medical reasons". Is this legal for her to do this?

There are requirements for attendence, you have to abide by those and any other rule the school has for students.
There are a lot of inconsistancies in your story.
Where are your parents in all of this?

I went to the school today to request a copy of my transcipts, and they refused to give them to me. As soon as I walked in with my doctor's note, the principal got defensive, and began telling me she had never seen that note, even though my boyfriend's mom handed the notes to HER. (I live with my boyfriend, and his mother has power of attorney rights over me for education.) She insisted she has never seen that note. She would not talk to me about anything, she won't set up a meeting, and she won't give me any letters from the district backing what she says. She isn't communicating with me, or giving me any type of information. She told me that everything I'm saying is "not true" and that I don't know what I'm talking about. She also was extremely unprofessional when talking to my mother. She constantly interupted her, refused to answer her questions, and ultimately hung up on her.
Surely there must be something my mother and I can do.

If you are able to go to school to request your transcripts, you do not have to be out until after Xmas break, the chiropractor can't say that without qualifactation, not after the ER released you to return to school. If you were that badly injured, the ER would have not released you without restriction. That is the point the school is trying to make and why I said your story is full of holes. See a medical doctor and have them write the release.

I never claimed I was so badly injured that I couldn't leave my house. My chiropractor said that I could not be at school for more than 2 consecutive hours. My school does not count you present if you are there for under 2 hours. That's why my chiropractor wrote me that note. The ER doctor gave me a referral for physical therapy, so that THEY could evaluate the situation. My medical doctor doesn't do any kind of physical therapy or chiropractic work, so I can't go to her. She's not the one treating me, so therefore she can't write the note.
What about the fact that the principal has been so unprofessional and rude to both me,my boyfriend and our parents? We've cooperated with the school, and they just keep giving us new "rules".

This is a LEGAL advice forum. I want to know my rights as a student, and my mother's rights as a parent...that's it, not your personal opinion. I'm not trying to be rude, but I am very frustrated because it seems no one can give me any answers.

Legally there is a big difference between physical therapist and chiropractor. If you were suppose to see physical therapist then that is where you need to go. The letter you have won't hold water in court and you will be kicked out of school. There is obviously more to this story but for all that you have said you have no rights except do as Dr. (and I mean a real Dr) told you, or go to school.
