Can a high school have a child submit to a breathalyzer based on "thinking" they were drinking without contacting the parents when it was expressed to the school a year ago that they were to contact the parent prior to any type of questioning or other action? ( The child passed and of course no apology)
The first time the school crossed the line we were able to sue them for the violation but chose not to do so with explict instruction to contact us first. I understand the need for discipline and do not object to it, I just have a concern with the schools constantly violating students and never being held accountable for their actions.

Any knowledge in this area would be very helpful.
