What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

Hello I'm not sure if I'm in the right spot but I'm currently on state disability but was curious if or wen I'm able to go back to work or wen I feel I can. How long do I have to work before I'm eligable to go back on it just incase I return to work n can't mentally handle it.

Depends on how many credits you have toward SSDI and how many more you may need .

When and how long had you worked on the books ? ( In other words what is your work history ) ?

Are you are asking about State Disability Insurance (SDI) from the State of California or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) from the Social Security Administration? Two toally different answers.

Does you doctor have to sign a form periodically for your benefits to continue? That would probably be SDI and it generally lasts only 12 months. I don't know the minimum number of quarters you would need to work, but it is similar to unemployment benefits.

If it is SSDI, the answer is much more complex.
