What is the name of your state? OK

Moved to Oklahoma at the end of November in 2007. Started a 'business' as consultant for a direct sales company (such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, etc.) in August. I received form 1099 MISC.

We're doing our taxes with TaxCut. When we started the Oklahoma return, it automatically added $ as SE tax, based on the info on our federal return.

I did not perform any work for my businesses for the rest of '07, since moving to Oklahoma. I did not receive any income from end of Nov - Dec 31 07, nor did I spend anything on my business. Does the SE tax for my Oklahoma state return still apply? Do I still need to pay that even though I had no income or expenses while in Oklahoma?

Thanks

Since you are filing a part-year resident return for Oklahoma and other state, you will need to divy up the income recieved accordingly.
